Look and Listen
It's The Next Rising Star

They hit the ball with a unique smacking sound because they own the sweet spot that we find so elusive.

Their shoes squeak with the music of manic tennis footwork. Undr the stress of point play, they float above the fray, rarely displaying an emotional IQ. Playing in the zone of singularly reliable stroke production their tennis often resembles laser tag on steroids.

But this is where stars are born on the women's tour. Baseline to baseline Bossa nova ball striking 'till death do us part, thank you.

If you see it, get a name and nation. You just caught another rising star at the Dow Corning Tennis Classic.

USTA Pro Circuit

Women's events on the USTA Pro Circuit consist of $10,000, $25,000, $50,000, $75,000 and $100,000 tournaments. Each event has 32 players in the main singles draw and 16 teams competing in doubles. The caliber of play at the premium-level events, the $75,000 and $100,000 tournaments, is close to that of the WTA Tour. It features women who are ranked as high as No. 40.
