Northeastern Michigan USTA League Players,

The 2011 USTA League year was full of excitement.  The District had three teams that advanced to the Section Championships, the Midland 3.5 Senior Women’s team, the Genesys 4.0 Adult Women’s team, and the Genesys 7.0 Super Senior Men’s team.  The 3.5 Senior Team went on to the National Championship at Indian Wells and placed 3rd in the Nation.  Congratulations to all the teams!

The 2011 State Adult and Senior Championship was hosted by the District and play was at the Midland Community Tennis Center.

We are looking forward to another great year of tennis and are anxious to get a Quad Level team started.  In 2011, the league was a Tri-Level, but we have added another NTRP level to a team.  The format is 4 courts of doubles in a match, a 3.0, a 3.5. a 4.0 and a 4.5.  There will be men’s teams and women’s teams.

If you are a new player, team captain, or veteran player, Northeastern Michigan is excited about this year’s opportunities to play. As your District USTA League Coordinator, I am excited to work with all of our captains and players this year. Please check the information we've posted here to keep you informed on the latest league news around Northeastern Michigan, the USTA/Midwest Section and USTA.

Please contact me with questions regarding how to find a team, your rating, league rules, and other inquiries during the year. Northeastern Michigan is dedicated to making the 2012 USTA League season the best yet. Your participation in the program is appreciated, and we look forward to working with you and seeing you on the courts this year.
